About Me

Hi, I'm Saeed (aka Pseudointellectual) — a digital crafter who builds things from the ground up.

I'm an Egyption guy from Mansoura who loves understanding how systems work at their deepest levels, studying low-level concepts, and creating tools that enhance workflows or simply bring joy through craftsmanship.

CLI Tools & Projects

My long-term focus is contributing to open-source operating systems, especially Linux and Linux Kernel, with interest in projects like systemd and BusyBox. I study computer architecture and OS internals to move toward low-level systems contribution.

So I've built terminal utilities like :

deasy (2026)

deasy is a lightweight command-line wrapper built on top of yt-dlp, designed to remove the usual complexity of long flags and confusing options.

The goal behind deasy is not just convenience — but turning powerful tools into something enjoyable and fast to use in everyday workflows.

yduts (2025)

yduts is a minimalist study timer built entirely for the terminal, focusing on zero distractions and maximum clarity.

It helps structure study sessions using timed intervals directly from the CLI, making it perfect for developers who live inside the terminal and don't want heavy GUI apps interrupting their focus.

Unity CLI Manager (2025)

Unity CLI Manager is a command-line tool that simplifies creating, organizing, and managing Unity projects without relying on the Unity Hub interface.

Overall, I build CLI tools to streamline everyday tasks, remove friction from powerful software, and bring a sense of craftsmanship into terminal-based workflows.

These projects reflect my interest in replacing heavy graphical workflows with clean, scriptable, and efficient command-line solutions.

I have other projects that you may find interesting — see them here.

My Journey in Tech

I've been passionate about technology since I was a kid, but I officially started getting my hands into coding and development around 2016. My early goal was game development, driven by curiosity about graphics, engines, and interactive systems.

Due to hardware limitations at the time, I gradually shifted toward web development — where I built countless projects, some published and many left behind as learning experiments.

Over the years, I created multiple portfolio websites as part of improving my design and development skills, including Whoami, Saeed, Portfolio v3, and later Thecoolestone.

Alongside development, I explored writing and knowledge sharing through multiple blogging platforms such as sigfault.log, SigFault, and the Arabic-focused blog Takallam.

It was a frustrating yet valuable journey — many projects were never finished, others were lost, and some simply didn't turn out as expected. The most important lesson I learned is that perfection doesn't exist, no matter how hard you chase it.

Currently, I'm diving deeper into microcontrollers, processors, and operating systems, which have become the most fascinating topics I've encountered so far. My long-term goal is to work in low-level system development, particularly in areas related to kernels and operating system internals.

At the end of the day, I learn primarily for the joy of understanding how things work.

Education

SEMU (2022 – 2026)

Bachelor's degree student at the Faculty of Specific Education, Mansoura University, specializing in Computer Education. Currently in my final year of study.

During my academic journey, I worked on my graduation project Abserny, an assistive computer vision system designed to help visually impaired users perceive their environment through real-time AI processing and audio feedback.

Through this project, I led the system design and development from the core architecture to the mobile interface and supporting website, which played a major role in strengthening my understanding of real-time systems, AI pipelines, and full-stack development.
